DON'T BE SOMEONES DOWNTIME

“Don’t be someone’s downtime, spare time, part time or sometime. If they can’t be there for you all of the time, then they’re not even worth your time.”

Live.Life.Happy

I will be the first to admit, I care. Sadly I care way... way too much. Im not saying I always care what everyone thinks OF me, or ABOUT me. I care about others.

In true Jessi fashion, I shared a funny photo via Facebook last night. People laughed, liked and commented on it.

Anyone who has been through a breakup, has to atleast chuckle, because well -- its true. :) I wont go into deetz here, but... J Sally maybe struck a cord with one person on this.. it hit home a little too much. It also reminded me of E (an old boyfriend) who is to date one of my best friends. Since I like to show photos, here is an old vintage throwback of the two of us...

That was the two of us back in 2001, way back. Right before Jon (the hubster) and I meet. :)

Anyways, I always just figured that guys just bounced back and right on after a break up, and have I learned. Men are way more emotional than I ever thought. :) So, cheers to my friend (and her fiance) to getting happy (both of you!) and cheers to Edgar finding the girl of his dreams (I know - I am pretty tough to come down from but its been 11 years buddy) Haha -- so kidding! He's has many-a-ladies since back in the day! :)

Now, on the flipside... I want to share a website I cruise often.

www.livelifehappy.com

Freaking love this site.

So, I am going to end this post with a few of my favorite quotes. I hope you find some you enjoy! <3

Settling is easy. It’s living with your decision to settle that’s the hard part.

Love someone not because they give you what you need. Instead, love them because they give you feelings you never thought you needed.

Friendship is a promise made in the heart. Silent. Unwritten. Unbreakable by distance. Unchangeable by time.

Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard for it.

Hard work and discipline are what you need to succeed. This applies to everything. There really is no secret—or shortcut—that will get you around this. So get to it, now.

Balance your job with your dream until your dream becomes your job! -Tony Gaskins

It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.

Liquid fun and friends at 28.

I've always been blessed with a handful of great girlfriends. I have also always been able to mingle with friends/acquaintances and be the life of the party. One of my friends, well she gives me a run for my money on that - so when we do hang out - (Which Ashley is NOT often enough) its fun.
Last night, was no exception! :) My night started off with Amanda, drinks and dinner at Joes Crabshack, which recently opened in the big O, I adore the Cherry Limeaid drinks there. YUM. It was a fun vibe, I mean the Cha Cha Slide... yeah! :)
Following, we needed some retail therapy and hit up the Chanel counter for makeup and lipstick. I mean those lips gotta always be POPPIN! (Sidetracking, but I have been meaning to do my makeup post) Perhaps this weekend when I decide to unearth from yesterdays fun! :) Ok So anyways -- back to the mall. So Amanda and I were walking to Von Maur, and I spotted 2-3 inches of NASTY chocolate ass. This girl really must have thought her ass was hot, and clearly much smaller than it was. But dear freaking god. It was not. She was wearing a stretchy short skirt and it was NOT pretty. Being the ballsy girl I am, I wanted to snap a pic, but the crew she was with looked hood. Amanda and I are pretty BA and can hold our own, but shit - I cant compete with hooood. So, moving on, after shopping (well lets be honest, we only stopped because the mall was closing!) we headed up to Ice House. The first few drinks there, we had some nice views, hot dudes. Yes sir. We started with a Chuck Norris Shot. Yes yum. We all rolled with the same drinks last night, other than some sugar fest Ashley ordered (it was like a sweetart)... Vodka and Cranberry was the drink. It is amazing, stick to one drink and you are good to go the next morning... no headache! So, once the menus left (the good looking men!) we bailed and went up to Loose Moose - lots of fun, but the live band was waaaaaaaaaaaaay loud. :) We drank for a few hours for $14, freaking awesome!!!! :)
Sally Domestic was happy, I love a good deal. :) The last stop, the Phoenix, did not apparently have enough hot guys, for the two single girls so it was time for me to call it a night, since the next bar was on the other side of town, yep - hence the 28 in the title of this post. Why - when you get older you drink close to home. Back in the day, downtown, Old Market were so much fun. Not that they aren't now, but seriously a 25-30 min commute is lame.o. Now, I always aim to please. I am a pleaser. I like to make people happy. I make dreams come true. Now - this is a two fold thing here. She is wearing my rock, it is a rock. I am not going to lie. Yes, I picked my (wedding) ring, if you're spending the money, do it right girls. SO that was dream uno. Dream dos, was me not wearing a wedding ring - I am not saying this is my dream, but perhaps Jon's and maybe an ex boyfriend (or two) :)
Speaking of exes, typically a reason they are exes. :) But one of them is still my best friend - love that dude. I hope he finds a fly girl who deserves him soon :) Here are the girls and I at Loose Moose!
A sure sign I am having a good time, drink in my hand, deuces and double chin.. OY.
Chanel lipgloss. <3 The sweet boy at the counter convinced me to buy the bright pink a month ago, and I LOVE it. :)
Amanda and I we roll classy. She rolls a Lincoln, I roll a Mercedes (well when I drive the hubs which is now almost always), we both work hard, we both love our Louies. I love that she also needs a chair for her purse. She makes me feel at home :) Ha!
Yours truely - after partyrockin' home sweet home!

DTF

Tonight my gmail was pure bliss. Bliss like never before. My bestie, Caitlin provided me with an amazing nugget (a photo) with a caption... Down to Fuck. Dear god. I laughed, and laughed, laughed harder than I did an hour before (when me being the queen of inappropriate) admittedly crossed the line, but we laughed hystarically about it. Now I know that, thus far this post is probably making you say -- hmm... BUT - download the "Id Cap that Ap" it's pure entertainment. I would LOVE to post the photo she sent. I mean it is REALLY a jem. However, I doubt that the subject would love the DTF caption, so until them - just email me for it ;)

Why, hello again.

If you want to say "hello" to everyone on the planet, you would have to learn at least 2,796 languages. ((Thanks to a quick Google search, I learned this!)

Guess what. I am not learning all of them. However... I want Rosetta Stone, or a smokin' hot Spanish Tutor... so I can learn espanol...

Why? We're going to MEXICO (again!). Yes, again... 3rd trip in just shy of dos (that's two for you non spanish speakers) years. This trip, I am stoaked about however. We're planning to go with one of my best girlfriends, and her husband! Amanda and I go way back.. like 1st grade back. :) Now, we werent exactly buddy buddy then, however since high school, that girl couldnt get enough of me. Ha! :) Anywho, so we will be going with them, and if we plan it right we have some other friends going at the same time. Holla. What a kick ass way to celebrate Jon's dirty thirty!!!

Speaking of travel, I have lots of travel coming up for work. In fact I will be spending more time away June-August than I will be home. :) Not complaining a bit! June I will be in PGH (Pittsburgh) Jon and I have a wedding (his cousin) which were shooting, and in typical J Sall style, you know I am hitting up my connections, because really there is not a single city that I do NOT know someone in. This B*tch is connected. ;) Stoaked to see my old MADD buddy JC up there! August will be 2 weeks in Portland! I LOOOOOVE Portland. I will also be there for my Birthday! HOLLER!

Totally random, but a little off shoot from "work" I nearly just died laughing at workaholics. OH.MY.GAH. Wednesday May 15th show, watch it. DVR it Blake & Ander loose Adam to a superrich lady or Netfix it. You will thank me for the redic laughs...

I'm back!

Well it's been a while, but I am back. I know that some people have been checking their google readers in anticipation of a blog post from me, from the edge of their seats. :) Ok, I am totally kidding. As per usual, life has been busy! We have slowed down on weddings, just 10 as compared to the 26 we did last year. Speaking of weddings, just finished the first two weddings of 2012, and I got the best message from one of my clients (via text and facebook) and it made all of the hours, and effort so WORTH it. I am really blessed to work with my husband on photos, we really do make an amazing team, but also fantastic clients. Work is well, I was promoted in January. I love my new role, I thrive on helping and developing others. :) I cant wait to see where the new role takes me. Life - well I am living it, loving it and I am living without thinking. You know, its funny how in just one moment and one thing starts to shape and change your life. I have always been a live wildly, freely and fun, but someone reminded me to live without regrets and not look back. I am greatful for that, because I needed that little reminder because sometimes I am reserved (I know... sounds funny huh). Speaking of living wild... after a bottle of wine last night - I propsed the idea of a white trash party next weekend. Yes. Classy. You think I need a photo of me in white trash garb with my 2 carat wedding ring and Louis Vuitton... ahhh oxy moron! Well, I am going to leave this post with a few photos from party rockin' May 12th!
