Reso...whaaa!?

Ok, bouncing back to yesterdays post...

Did you meet your resolutions for 2010?

I did, not as greatly as I wanted but I did it. :) What was my goal? To loose weight. If you dont recall, I looked like this (Ick!)week one of starting FAST.

Here I am today (eeer ok Dec 3rd! -- our last day in Mexico!)

I got to thinking about things I want to incorporate into the new year, one being...

Try something new Tuesday.

What's that? Well I was thinking, a new recipe, new workout, new product, a new method of cleaning or crafty project of some sort. Of course I might even surprise you all with something new!

In the spirit of Tuesday, I am going to try something new... recipe wise. I have some rice I need to make up, I am thawing chicken, and have some cheese. So a cheesy rice casserole it is tonight. :)

So, what are your resolutions, and why do you want to accomplish them? I am a firm believer you need to have a reason behind a resolution. We can ALL say, exercise more, so I am healthier. Well... how about, exercise more so I can run a 5k for example. Put a little more behind your resolutions so they stick. :)

  1. I just found your blog. Since weight loss is not my resolution, because I am already working in that direction - I think as silly as it sounds scrapbooking is my resolution. I have so many things to put into an album and they are just piling up!

Great blog, can't wait for your Tuesday posts!

  2. Thanks PlushBelle! Scrapbooking is a great resolution, heck I should follow suit, I have a rather large tote FULL of scrapbooking supplies. I guess the digital age has ahem... put me behind :)

  3. Hi Jessi - I wanted to respond to your sweet comments, but I get a no reply option. I had several people tell me they were getting the same thing from me. If you go to my page and look under my labels there is one under Blogging that show how to fix that so people can respond back to you - that is if you want the world to have your email address. Ha! Scary right? I made one just for my blog.

Anywho, I love your comment on your motivation factor. You took the words right out of my mouth. People find it strange that I was overweight, but confident as a person. Guessing that is rare? I honestly just got tired of limited shopping, tugging at my bra, and just being uncomfortable. I figured being on a diet is far less of a PITA then all the things I got through physically being overweight. I am not a quitter either and I have been feeling frustrated with weight loss. Since quitting is not an option I guess I just realized what a long path I have in front of me and it was a bit overwhelming. But this morning I woke up and was like today is a new day. I got my water cup filled up and here we go!
