So, life has been... umm busy.
I've been keeping busy with work (still waiting on round II of interviews for a promotion - fingers crossed!!)
I leave for a two week assignment in Plano, TX on Monday. I am looking forward to it, as its a good church in a very nice area (Jerry Jones' hood!)
Photography, a few sessions this week, maternity!! Babies soon to follow!
I had the pleasure of having lunch with a great great gal pal. She is going thru some uber exciting changes, and I am so genuinely happy for her! You know who you are! Eeeek!
Today has been a lazy day, I cleaned, weve been working on getting the business taxes in order, were meeting with Amanda (our accountant tomorrow). We have YET to start our personal taxes, but those should be pretty easy peasy.
Oh and backtracking.. the hubster is bored with his car. Which might I add, we bought (yes bought FML) last March. It's a 2010 VW Passat. It's just too daddy'ish for him. So, beings that he works at a car dealer he sees all these fun cool cars (so I totally get it). Anyways, he wants a Mercedes C 300 Sport. I cant say I dont, because afterall, that was my first car I bought on my own. :) STUNNNA baby.
So, Thursday eve we went and test drove the car, they appraised our car, and were $3700 in the hole. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! Keep in mind, we have 0% financing. Ugh. So, the lease special would be around $420 a month, went to $517. Ugh. Damn car. I am annoyed because I will "eat" some of the loss, but darnit Jon is kinda a big deal, cant they take a little loss... I mean do they want to piss off the IT guy, who can shut their internet/email and so on off in a heartbeat ;) HAHA. I know Jon is a little annoyed too, especially since the response time today from the VW store was well.. yeah nothing. Anyways... so I told Jon if its meant to be, it will be but I feel bad because I know he wants a new car thats "cool".
So... thats the update of my exciting... err boring life!
I will update next from DALLAS~ Any suggestions for things to see/do while I am in the Dallas (PLANO) area?

Whew! Busy and quite productive!
This was a great weekend! While the hubs had his wisdom teeth removed, it was very productive. :)
Friday night I got my grocery shopping out of the way, and have everything thru next Sunday night. Woo!
Yesterday was spent getting organized. I spent 12 hours organizing our entire basement. Our basement has 2 storage rooms, which I organized both, a 16ft wall of cabinets (mainly gaming stuff, entertaining items, and other small items). I also tackled Jons tools. What a job... lastly our office. I havent been so good with keeping papers organized since full blown wedding season.. so yesterday I went thru the safe, organized papers... shreded what we no longer needed. I also got everything photog related organized. I organized our props, gear and reciepts! It is so nice to have everything together! :)
Now, the last to organize will be the closet, and our laundry room. Next weekend!
When I organize, I find I am most productive with piles... keep, donate and a big trash bag! Typically, if I havent used something within a year, it goes. I feel so good after purging old items!
I also feel great when I knock out a wedding! Just finished the NYE wedding today! Its going to be another busy year, we currently have 18 signed wedding contracts for 2011. :)

Happy 2011!
Happy New Year! :)
This has been a busy 3 day weekend for us! Last night we shot a wedding ceremony. It was a nice ceremony, in a gorgeous church. I always get stoaked when its a pretty venue, with cool touches. You can check out pictures by clicking HERE.
Last night, after the wedding we rang in NYE with our friends the McCabe's. It was a nice, fun yet low-key evening. We didnt get drunk, however I think my first drink was 75% Captain Morgan 25% Diet Coke ;) I ended up splitting it into a few drinks :) Tyler & Amy made a dinner too!
Today I organized the heck out of my bathroom, going thru my drawers, getting rid of old items and general cleaning. Speaking of cleaning -- Ive been meaning to for quite some time.... drumroll... my makeup brushes. This is something I have been slacking on for a while. :) I also went thru the spare bedroom closet, (now if I could only get rid of my wedding gown). Here is the thing, I love my dress but I am not attached to it, like some people are. Its more of a nuisance because it takes up so much space. Now, here is the hang up, I just dont want to "give it away". (Hence why it hasnt been donated to Mary Magdalene Project). So... I may just list it on Craigslist again) I did a few years back, without success -- ughhh clearly! :)
I also got out linen closet organized and utilized some new totes I bought for storage of seasonal hand towels, and wash cloths - these always seemed to topple over and make a mess previously.
A little more on the domestic front -- haha... :) We ordered a blower for our fireplace. Since its so darn chilly here in good old Nebraska, the fireplace is handly! We use it but it can be spendy (the gas) so the blower will help circlate the heat, so our furnace wont need to work as hard. Holla for this little honey-do project. Expect pictures to come, and I am sure Mr. Sally wont be thrilled -- well tough luck. :-)
Lastly - I am slightly irritated with Louis Vuitton. The hubster bought me a Neverful MM for Christmas, it was HUGGGGGGE, it looked like a diaper bag. Anyways, I returned it, since the Speedy 35 I wanted was out of stock. I looked the next day and it was back in, so we purchased the second bag. No big deal right, wrong.
Well, the customer service person I spoke with the day after he gave it to me (before Christmas) told me they would re-send the future purchase (when in stock) with the same shipping we had on the original order. That was overnight, which he paid $35 and it took 3 days... then on the 2nd purchase the girl said they would "check if they could" and I had to remind her she told me it wouldn't be a problem, lets just say my persistence is a good strength...okay anyways... :) Fast forward, we ordered bag 2 last Monday, and I was expecting a similar turn around. We have yet to receive the shipping info, which was weird. So I called, and was told my bag "should" be here Friday (as in yesterday). NOTHING still no delivery info either. I am annoyed. I pondered calling them today, but really what good is it going to do, not like I can sit home all week and wait for a package (since someone must sign for it). Ugggggh. Good thing I will love the bag, and I have been lusting over it for a very, very long time.
Well, tomorrow is going to be full of church, budgeting and probably some further organizing - i plan to tackle the basement storage rooms. :)

Quick and Domestic!
So, as the year comes to a close I have been working on organizing. I started with a quick 38 minute (yes I did time it!) project. :)
Meet our entry closet. I found 6 of my dear husbands sweatshirts, hung in there along with out coats. There was also a mix of photography junk (old gear, lens wipes and so on). We also had our mops, steam cleaner, brooms and cleaning items irradically placed. So... here is what I started with.

Really this was a SIMPLE clean up. I also purchased some wall ancors for the broom, mop and stuff to hang. I also got a tote for the Dyson attachments which were previously just stuffed on the top rack:) It was just a matter of doing it. But it got the ball rolling. Yesterday, I went thru my office. It was a papered mess. Not really a mess, quite clean but I went thru an entire drawer which I was able to purge! Recycle Bank Points, ummhmm! I also picked up a new organizer for my bathroom drawer, and thats on the agenda for the weekend. Its going to be an organizing weekend in the Sally Domestic household this weekend.
Before that fun can begin however, Jon and I are shooting our final wedding for 2010. For those of you following, feel free to also follow us on our blog, and become a fan on facebook!!

In a funk.
You read it. I am in a funk.
I need to get out of it. As I was pondering why, it *just* came to me. I NEED to get back to my to-do lists. Laugh you may... but seriously, I need to make my rental car reservation, and secure a hotel for my upcoming work trip to Norman, OK. I also need to do other work stuff, ugh.
On a good note, I got a new camera today. Number one, of two. For those who didnt know, I had a Sony A200. I sold it on Craigslist, (holla) and bought a Sony A700 I also officially closed my big deal at work... so Canon 7D here I come as well. EEEEEEEEEE!
Now, back to my funk. I have been getting 1600'ish calories a day. I have up to 1700, but I liked staying in the 1300 range. When I come home, I just havent felt like cooking dinner. Yet, I didnt bother to make a meal plan. I can consider this a learning experience. I NEED to PLAN. I also have been suuuuuuuper tired in the morning, actually I think its more of a combo of my out of control cute (and snuggly) dogs keeping me in bed. Damn them. But, come to the evening I just want to veg out. I Need to work out still, I am just in a funk, and I dont want to. But I will.
Oh and Im ending this with...
150 calories = 2 girl scout cookies. They are just as good in moderation. :)

OMG!
So... diet wise. OMG isnt so good. I actually gained .2# however.. I am looking and feeling thinner. I've done a lot of weight lifting lately - so I am hoping this is muscle :)
Now, for the good OMG. Work was fabulous this week. For those of you who arent quite sure what I do. I work for Liturgical Publications, and I sell advertising on church bulletins. My job is a sales job, so I am commissioned. Which can be an amazing thing if you are successful. Thank God I have been so blessed to be successful. I sold over $8k this week, now before you think I am a major balla -- I dont get all of that. :) I also am about to close two huge deals, one $6500 deal, and hopefully a large one to the tune of $23,000!
Now this makes me squeel because this means I get to buy my new camera and flash that I have been lusting over. The Canon 7D and Speedlite!
I am also going to be upgrading my backup camera. Since I have all the Sony equipment, I will be trading that in for a newer Sony. Super stoaked. Eeeee!

Living for the weekend...
What a great weekend. Jon and I have kind of been in a slump lately, and have been vegging out all weekend and our trip out -- was to church. Thankfully we got out yesterday for some retail therapy. The only thing is, the "retail therapy" wasnt exactly successful.
We are going to be upgrading our camera equipment to the Canon 7D. We were debating between a Nikon and the Canon, and after the research we have been doing, we thought the Canon was the way to go, but went to Rockbrook to check it out in person. I LOVE it. We looked at some lenses, and a speedlite as well. It's going to be a pricey upgrade, but it will be worth it.
We also went to dinner with Sarah and Jordan at Ted's Nebraska Grill. I had heard some "dicey" reviews on it, however I was impressed. We will be going back.
This morning we got up "early" and went to 8 o'clock mass. It was nice to have a quiet mass for once. Normally we go to 9:30 or 11, and it's kid central. Speaking of church, and leading to Lent.. I gave up facebook for lent. I do miss the status updates, but I dont miss the time I wasted on there. :) It allowed me to finish up some editing.
Well -- off to get things ready for the week!
